The project was a remodel of an existing dormitory built in 1960. The building had been abandoned for over 10 years. We stripped it down to it's structure and rebuilt the building as a 180 room apartment building with state of the art E-Star appliances and fixtures as well as using recycled products throughout. The unit’s varying from studios to 3 bedroom apartments. Solar hot water panels installed on the roofs provide the apartments with domestic hot water and heat. And with the addition of solar voltaic panels the energy use in the building has been reduced to 75% of the original energy consumption. The building also houses the clerical, office and maintenance needs of the building and grounds
